The rules for using CCDataLib

These Terms govern your use of CCDataLib’s products, datasets, and services. By accessing our platform, you agree to the obligations and rights outlined below.

1. Eligibility & accounts

CCDataLib is designed for professional stakeholders working on carbon capture and removal. You must provide accurate registration details and safeguard your login credentials. Account sharing is prohibited.

2. Acceptable use

  • Do not attempt to disrupt the platform, access restricted data, or reverse engineer our services.
  • Only use insights and downloads within the scope of your license agreement.
  • Respect intellectual property rights of CCDataLib and our data partners.

3. Intellectual property

All platform content, visualizations, and documentation are the property of CCDataLib or our licensors. You receive limited, non-transferable rights to use the service during your subscription term.

4. Disclaimers

We deliver insights “as-is.” While we strive for accuracy, CCDataLib does not warrant that the data is error-free or fit for a particular purpose. Strategic decisions should be validated against independent assessments.

5. Limitation of liability

CCDataLib is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our cumulative liability under these Terms is limited to the fees paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

6. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms or misuse of the platform. You may terminate at any time; fees already paid are non-refundable unless otherwise agreed in writing.

7. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, unless your contract states otherwise.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms to reflect new features or legal requirements. Continued use of CCDataLib after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
